Twitter desktop client based on AIR
TweetOBox joins the almost endless list of Twitter desktop clients with an AIR-based app that looks quite promising – but still needs some work.
You can configure multiple Twitter accounts in TweetOBox, and access all the main functions provided by Twitter: read your timeline, send new updates, exchange direct messages with your friends, reply and retweet messages, etc. TweetOBox also includes some advanced functionality that is not easy to find in these clients, such as support for Twitter lists, a built-in search tool for messages and people, and support to share photos.
TweetOBox features a great interface, both in terms of design and usability. It’s clear and eye-catching, and at the same time provides you with quick access to all of the program’s functions without taking up too much space on your screen.
That said, the truth is that TweetOBox is still a bit rough around the edges. The program seemed quite unstable during our tests, and the process to add Twitter accounts is a bit confusing.
